Six small paintings selected for the Spring Cultivator Show for Salt Projects at Lemon Street Market in Truro. Open daily from 24th May to 3rd June 2023 with an opening on 24th May 5-6.30pm.
The upstairs space and art gallery is a wonderful place to show a varied selection of works from artists in Cornwall. These small paintings (each 25x25x3cm) explore care and parenting through a humorous use of medieval symbolism and heraldry. Creating fluid interpretations of symbols, animals and chimerae, is it possible that we can represent small daily acts of care as significant historical moments?
