On show from now until 19th August 2023, ‘Remembering when life was so simple’ (mixed media painting 60x70x4cm) is one of many contemporary art works in Associate Members Summer Exhibition 2023 in the New Gallery. Penwith Galleries has three galleries and an archive and it’s been wonderful talking to Jason Lilley about how old meets new, and contemporary art uses inspirations from past.
