FiLia is a unique organisation that supports women artists.

They believe that the art world needs to be more diverse and more representative of women. Since 2013, they have been working hard to promote women artists. One of their programmes is https://filia.org.uk/filiart100/ which brings together 100 feminist activist artworks celebrating 2018’s anniversary of (some) women’s right to vote.

I was honoured indeed to have work selected which has been shown in Manchester and other cities as part of a travelling show, featuring 100 posters of women’s selected works.

Here is a copy of ‘Midstream Chaos’ (shown second down on the right), which is part of the Empathy Circuit triptcyh of three large paintings featuring text aspects of women’s lives Do check out the other 99 other wonderful works in the show by clicking the link above.
