During lockdown I could safely socially distance and pop in to my studio occasionally – just to leave something different in the window for everyone to see as they passed. Bread Street is a tiny back street that runs parallel to the main street in Penzance. It has a small local community that live there or pass through regularly who have always said ‘hello’ and commented on the latest work in the window. I hope to carry on cheering everyone up with something colourful!
Post COVID-19 I hope to be able to offer safe social distancing art appointments to view work, perhaps on a one-to-one basis and invite people into my studio in Bread st, to see art and talk about it. Do get in touch if you might be interested. It seems even more important to share my painting practice about domestic and caring themes.
