Bread street is a charming back street, running parallel to Market Jew Street in Penzance. It has always been a busy artisan area, with a history of alternative and interesting artists who reflect Penzance’s diverse art scene. Bread Street is a vibrant community and the arts collective Bread Street Arts Trail are opening their doors and inviting warmly into their a diverse art scene and vibrant community – all year round.

Many members of the group have been making art in and around Penwith, as well as internationally for over 20 years. Felicity Robertson of Five the Beehive says ‘When we realised how many of us there were it seemed natural to want this area to be a real asset to Penzance. We’d like to help make Bread street beautiful’.

Artists so far: Peter Fox, Sophie Harding, Catherine Harvey-Jefferson, Delpha Hudson, Winnie Lyn, Grant Phillips, Redwing gallery, Tim Ridley, Felicity Robertson Lee Stevenson, Janine Wing, Andrew Swan
