I’ve been asking friends about their lockdown stories, something that sums up their experience. One friend poetically described how her tears flowing into glasses of wine as a fitting summary of her lockdown experience, another  described multi-tasking at the kitchen sink on zoom calls and online work. The word-images created by the short stories that people have sent me about lockdown can be quickly transIated into watercolour and ink.  I am loving these small quick works – a process I often use in studies for figures in my large oil paintings. Everyone it seems wants to share their stories through visual images.

If you have a story or visual image to share get in touch and I’ll make a tiny watercolour (15x18cm) and send it to you in the post for £10 (and something for the postage).
